DNAA Novice Championships
Sunday the 6th of April saw the annual event of the county Novice Championships, as ever hosted by Whitburn Archers. This year the event moved to the Nissan Sports and Social Club where I’m sure everyone will agree proved to be a great success. Whitburn Archers not only organised the event but also had a couple of our newer members competing! Well done to Phillip and Denise in their first competitions, finishing in very respectable 10th and 3rd places in their respective categories. Thanks must go to Ken and Colin for Judging and keeping the shoot running smoothly. The day ended with the county chairman, Dave Harrison awarding the prizes and us retiring to the pub for a pint (very unusual, I know).
